Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about Adolf Habits
Adolf Habits is a simple, focused habit tracker designed to help you build and maintain daily habits. Think of it as a personal accountability tool — you add habits, check them off each day, and watch your progress grow. No bloat, no social features, just you and your consistency.
The free plan gives you everything you need to get started: up to 3 active habits, daily check-ins, a streak counter, a monthly progress calendar, and basic statistics. No credit card is required — just create an account and start tracking.
Premium ($4.99/month) unlocks unlimited habits, in-depth weekly and monthly analytics, custom per-habit email reminders, full history calendar view, CSV data export, dark mode, and priority customer support. If you're serious about habit building, Premium gives you the full toolkit.
Yes, absolutely. You can downgrade to the free plan at any time from your account settings. Your data is preserved, but premium features will be locked. If you have more than 3 habits when you downgrade, they'll remain viewable but you won't be able to add new ones until you're back within the 3-habit limit.
Yes! New users get a 7-day free trial of Premium. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged a cent.
Go to Account Settings → Subscription and click "Cancel Subscription." You'll continue to have Premium access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free plan.
A streak counts the number of consecutive days you've completed a specific habit. For example, if you read every day for 12 days in a row, your reading streak is 12. If you miss a day, the streak resets to 0. For weekly habits, the streak counts consecutive weeks.
Nothing bad! Your streak resets, but your history is preserved. The calendar will show the gap, and you can pick right back up the next day. Building habits is about consistency over time, not perfection. A missed day doesn't erase your progress.
CSV data export is a Premium feature. You can download all your habit data (habit names, check-in dates, streaks, completion rates) as a CSV file from your account settings. This is useful if you want to run your own analysis in a spreadsheet or keep a backup.
Go to Account Settings → Danger Zone and click "Delete Account." You'll be asked to confirm — this action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your habit data, account information, and history will be permanently deleted.
Yes! When creating a habit, you can choose between a daily target (e.g., "read every day") or a weekly target (e.g., "exercise 3 times per week"). Weekly targets are great for habits that don't need to happen every single day.
Yes. We don't sell your data, show ads, or share your information with third parties (except for essential services like payment processing and email delivery). Your habit data is yours alone. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Free plan users get a daily reminder email. Premium users can set custom reminder times per habit — for example, a morning reminder for exercise and an evening reminder for journaling. You can configure or disable reminders in your notification settings.
Currently, Adolf Habits is a web application that works on any device with a browser — desktop, tablet, or mobile. It's fully responsive and designed to work well on phones. A native mobile app may come in the future, but for now the web app does the job.
